That’s right, I’m a true beauty addict. I confess: Everything that is beauty related is something that makes me lose my mind, especially (as you probably have already noticed) make-up. There are products of which I am an unquestioning fan and that when I don’t really feel like thinking too much about an elaborate look it is to them that I turn, but overall I just love trying new products and get to know other brands. This mini-haul fits no doubt in this last category because I’ve never had experienced any of these products and although they are all brands already well known and a lot speaken on the Internet for our dear beauty gurus, it was the first time I bought a products from both Jordana 's and  L.A. Girl brands.

I bought the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge (7.99€ on sale) for the sake of curiosity, because I really wanted to compare it to my beloved Beauty Blender. In terms of consistency and sizes they are quite similar, what is different between them is actually the format because while the Beauty Blender is round down, the Real Techniques has a kind of sliced look.

I had heard a lot of talking about the Jordana brand, because not only the products are very cheap but they also have a quite good quality. However, as unfortunately it is already common here in Portugal, lots of drugstore brands simply don’t exist in our country. Luckily we have online stores like Maquillalia that allow us to have access to them! The Jordana Best Volumizing Lash Extreme (5.29€) seems to be a good option for those who do not want to spend much on a mascara but like a little extra volume on the eyelashes.

One thing that never lacks in my online beauty products shopping is a lipstick . This time I opted for L.A. Girl Matte Gloss (5.49€). I have wanted to try this line since it was launched, and since I’ve never purchase anything from this brand, I thought this was the perfect time! The really hard part is wich color to choose, this time I bought the Bazaar but still thinking about buying the shades Frisky and Timeless, they’re absolutely gorgeous!

At this time of year my hair always tends to become oily, so to finish this shopping basket I purchased the Batiste Dry Shampoo Tropical (3.99€ on sale). I had experienced this product in the brunette version, but I did not became a fan because after applying it I always got my hands dyed in the color of the product. However, as the Tropical is more similar to the classic version, I don’t think that will happen. If you guys want to see in-depth reviews of any of these products, just let me know. Have you made any new beauty purchases recently?

Hello everyone! Does everyone already knows this sweetheart, the fanfare from MAC? I bought it this week and have been using it every day! The Color is very discreet and since it belongs to the cremesheen line is quite comfortable to wear, being just the perfect choice for the day-to-day wear.

IMG_3268.JPG

The fanfare is a kind of subtle pink and the intensity of the color varies according to the natural pigmentation of the lips. As it’s part of the MAC cremesheen line turns out to be a little moisturizing and have a bit of glossy effect (but without exaggeration). It’s perfect for those winter days in which you don’t even feel like get out of bed!

On the cons side, unfortunately in terms of duration is weakly compared with other lines of the MAC lipsticks, in my lips lasts about 2 to 3 hours. Although belongs to the moisturizing line, you must have to hydrate your lips as it has the tendency to accumulate in those dry patches and emphasize them.

Overall, I love this one! I confess that it has been coming in me, in my bag, for the last days. It works wonders in that rainy days when you do not feel like using nothing more vibrant, it's my obvious choice . It my be a little pricey, but in my opinion the MAC lipsticks are products that are definitely worth the investment.

No geral, gostei imenso!

IMG_3084 (1).JPG

Soft and Gente Mineralize Skinfinish - MAC: This one is my favorite highlighterone ever. I love the effect that it has, it appears tho gives a natural glow but without being anything abusive.

Mary-Lou maziner - The Balm: I have huge products of this brand , blushes from the shadows, but this is my favorite product from them . It's ideal to use for a party, because you have a undertone of golden sparkles that are simply beautiful in a more sophisticated make-up.

Glow Gleam - Topshop: I do not know if you knew, but the Topshop has a line of cosmetics with a gorgeous lipsticks and some highlighters to make you sigh! This one is an cream highlighter, so you always have to be careful at the time of application and try not to put too much product.

Girl meets Pearl - Benefit: This was one of the first highlighters I ever bought, on a visit I made to London a few years ago and I just love it! The annoying part is that here in Portugal is very hard to find, and even online stores that sell the Benefit, do not send their product to Portugal .

Touche Éclat - Yves Saint Laurent: This is a more high-end product compared to others and it’s also different from them . It is the most subtle highlighter of the group and some people may even say that this is more a concealer than really an highlighter, but I really like to use it in certain areas of the face to help reflect light.

Skincare Routine

06.01.16

My skin is extremely moody, and because of that over the years I got used to a sacred routine of cleansing and moisturizing. Although some products keep changing over the months, ranging from being more hydrants creams or being more dedicated to rosacea cream ( yes, it's a small skin problem that afflicts many people, and that makes that certain areas of the face become as its name implies, more pink and with a tendency to develop some small zits, almost like a little allergy).

Currently my daily ritual consists of these products, mainly from the Bioderma brand.

IMG_2802.JPG

Micellar Water from Bioderma Sensibio – I use it in the morning for skin cleansing and is also my best friend at night when it's time to take off all makeup, even the waterproof products.

Moisturizing Face Cream Sensibio Rich from Bioderma – In this time of the year my skin tends to become even drier than usual, and this cream is a great help in terms of hydration. I usually apply it in the morning and in the evening to help keep the skin hydrated and comfortable.

Moisturizing Cream Sensibio Eye from Bioderma - One of my struggles throughout the year is relative to the eye contour area as it is an extremely dry zone. This cream helps me a lot, especially when applied before using the foundation.

Anti-Redness Mask from Uriage - This is a product that I usually only use in SOS cases , when the skin is very sensitive and begins to develop some small zits.
